This treasure was made through the wet felting process. Once it was dry the details were needle felted into place.
Unmounted this bespoke treasure can be displayed with a wooden dowel and string, or it can be mounted/framed on a mat for an 11”x14” and a 16”x20” frame.
Note: This OOAK wool painting has an organic edge as seen in bottom right photo that is pretty and unique to each piece. However, it can be trimmed to create a neat square edge if you prefer.
Layout of fibers before wetting and rolling. Dimensions ~22”x16”.
After wetting and rolling. Achieved about 30% shrinkage. Ready for needle felting.
